The initial Metal Gear project group consisted of Josh Hrach, Adam Fincher, Jose Garcia, and Valentine Coker. These four took the fifteen weeks of their term to work on their robot. This included creating the design, frame work, and the initial sensor circuitry.
Near the end of the term, as requested by staff, Josh created a 300+ word abstract describing their project. This abstract was later submitted to Indianapolis, and the group was accepted. The road to the Indy Competition had begun.
Unfortunately, three of the four team members could not attend the competition on March 31st. Thus, the project was widened out to encompass members from the other two teams in the class. The new Metal Gear team was born. It is this group of people that are now working on the project.
Metal Gear robot is a school related project. The use of the name Metal Gear is not associated with Metal Gear, Metal Gear Solid, or Konami.
